Food Processing Incubator

• Selection of Right product based on the demand in market.
• Practical training / Demonstration on various aspects of food processing by experts / technologists.
• Facilities like Electricity, Water, steam, etc., as per the requirement of the production facilities will be provided with a nominal fees Entrepreneurs have to get raw materials on his own. Thus, this facility gives way for starting the business without any heavy initial investment on machines, land and other facilities.
• Trial runs can be carried out to build confidence.
• This facility will be extended until the Entrepreneur is sure of his market. He has to start his business outside.
• FPO licence number can be utilized till he gets his own.
• Technical advice and guidance will be given in developing the business even after starting own industry.

The unit consists of about forty different types food processing machinery worth Rs. 35 lakhs.


Achievements

Due to efforts of BEC-STEP 65 industrial units under cottage and small scale have been established by entrepreneurs with an investment of about Rs. 140 Lakhs and creating employment opportunity for about 360 persons in 2 years.
